Exposure

Part of defining who we are in life – our identity and purpose, and what we’re called to do – our mission and destiny, can be discovered through dreams. The ability to visualise pictures and images in our mind, creating and shaping what we see so we can make it become a reality. You can either dream with your eyes wide open or when you are asleep; Either way, our dreams and visions can impact our life and the world in astronomical and life-changing ways.

Dreaming is like gathering a selection of films that you wish to expose to the world. With the right light and condition, it can greatly impact humanity and ourselves. Dreams are unexposed films that are developed in darkness and behind closed doors to showcase a life-transforming image that can be breathtaking and a world changer. When we were children, we could dream exponentially and use our imagination. We would have plenty of far-fetched dreams like for example; walking on the moon and being a superhero. We also believed that we could achieve those dreams and that anything was possible if we had faith to believe. Now, I’m not talking here about spirituality or religion, although having those things aren’t wrong if used correctly, however, this was faith to believe in the impossible of what we could not see yet but felt it can be achieved. We believed that anyone could be anything and do anything. It wasn’t about race, colour, culture, religion, or anything else. Just one person and their dream.

🎞️

As we grow out and away from childhood to adolescence and into adulthood, sometimes our ability to dream can diminish. We are often told that this is the real world, dreams are for little children, but is it? Is a child’s dream more important than an adult’s? Dreams are dreams whatever age, background, or class. Dreams will also stay as dreams if we do not learn to do something with them. They will just stay as fantasies sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

I heard this question asked once before; “Where is the richest place on this planet?”. Of course, the answers came back with countries, continents, and regions, but do you know what the answer was… The Cemetery. Yes, you heard me correctly; The graveyard. Why was that? Because so many people die without fulfilling their dreams. The dreams that could have been inventions, world changers, and solutions to problems, went to the ground untapped, unnurtured, unrealised, and unused. They never got the chance to be a blessing to this world and see the light of day. So down into the dirt, it went, never to be undiscovered again.

🎞️

All we have is the ability to dream, and then to be allowed to allow those dreams to materialise. Dreams are like unexposed films with a snapshot of what they will look like in life, live and in real-time. When given the right light for development, you will see the manifestation of that dream – that prelude, for all the world to see and hopefully benefit from. Don’t let your dreams die or become dormant. Stir up and awaken your dreams and give them life, light, and energy; And as you do, something great will come from it. You could be the next solution to a problem for someone out there in the world who is not only waiting for your dream and vision, but your gift and presence also. If you must re-visit your darkroom again to see what films are there to be developed and exposed, then do so. Add light to it, and see the life and beauty that will come forth as it’s exposed to the world.

Now that is what you call complete Exposure!
